Caring, capable teachers

"MCA has such caring, capable teachers who work every day to keep kids feeling nurtured and parents informed. We loved watching our daughter grow and develop under their care"

First time parents:

Our 3 month old baby Lily started in the infant room at Micah Children’s Academy last August. As our first child, we were nervous to leave Lily for the day. My husband and I both work full time and don’t have family in the country as we are both from abroad. Quickly, Micah became an extension of family. The teachers and staff there nurture and care for the babies as if they were their own. It is such a warm environment. Ms. Erica, Ms. Melissa, and Ms. Maria are truly the best of the best - so kind and thoughtful. They greeted Lily every day with a smile on their face and enthusiasm for the day ahead. In the infant class, Lily learned and prospered. The teachers made sure to always keep us informed through daily messages and photos, and also keep us abreast of any issues that arose.  Our family had such a wonderful experience in the infant room and would highly recommend Micah to anyone looking for a preschool that’s a cut above.

DEEP GRATITUDE

Our family is deeply grateful for the incredible experience our children had at Micah Children's Academy. From the moment we enrolled, we knew we had found something truly special—a child-centered, pluralistic Jewish environment that aligned perfectly with our values and hopes for our children’s early education.

Throughout our time at the school, our children were surrounded by love, care, and thoughtful attention. The educators met each child where they were, nurturing their curiosity, creativity, and sense of self. It was clear that the teachers and staff weren’t just doing a job—they were building a community.

We often say it takes a village to raise a child, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have found our village here. The teachers became part of our extended family, supporting our children’s growth and supporting us as parents. We will always carry with us the lessons, memories, and warmth from these early years.

Thank you for giving our children a foundation rooted in compassion, Jewish values, and the joy of learning. We couldn't have asked for a better beginning.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Celia and Aaron Lerch
